In 2020, I led a dispersed project team of content managers, developers, designers, engineers, and product vendors through the successful migration of our website to a new CMS and cloud-based server. Other systems affected by the migration included our digital sign and forms software. I led the migration effort of hundreds of forms to Formstack and our digital signs to Yodeck.
Over the past year, I led several back-end projects simultaneously, including a domain change, the transition to Google Analytics 4, a ticketing system migration, and a major version update in our forms software.
The domain change was part of our transition from Westminster College to Westminster University and was just one of nearly 50 web-related tasks I identified as part of that project. I collaborated with project teams and stakeholders to scope each task, identified dependencies, organized resources, tracked deliverables, adapted to changes, and communicated regularly. We were pleased to create minimal disruption to users at go-live and kept our organic search performance steady throughout the project.
Over the past 6 years, I’ve led my team through SEO audits, resigns and reskins, content strategy development, IA overhauls, and more. I’ve also supported numerous software implementations for other departments including HR, the Career Center, Advancement and Alumni Relations, and Admissions, ensuring their products are WCAG- and PCI-compliant, meet brand standards, and are optimized for UX.
